Arizona Western College The Arizona Western College Nursing Department consists of the Certified Nursing Assistant program and the Associate Degree Nursing Program. The Certified Nursing Assistant Program prepares the student to take the state examination to become a certified or licensed nursing assistant (CNA, LNA). The skills learned as a Certified Nursing Assistant can prepare the student for a long-term career in the nursing field.  The state and nationally accredited nursing program prepares students with a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing (AAS). These graduates are eligible to seek licensure as a registered nurse (RN). Northern Arizona University Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from NAU-Yuma in person or online. You can transfer from AWC to NAUYuma and be part of the Traditional BSN program, earn your Associate’s degree and your BSN at the same time in partnership with AWC, or if you’re a current AWC nursing student with one year of nursing courses completed, you can enroll in NAU’s RN to BSN program.
